Schedule your pool opening early! If you are a returning customer, you can sign up for our guaranteed opening*. Please understand it is very difficult to predict the weather in the spring and we usually get a lot of rain. If you have a particular date that you MUST have your pool opened, back that date up 2-4 weeks. Opening your pool early will ensure that is it ready to use when the weather is right.

Returning customers no longer have to wonder if we are going to be too busy to open their pool. These customers will be asked to schedule their opening by April 1st to lock in their place on the schedule. We will send a service form to last years closing customers either by email or mail.

We want every customer to be 100% satisfied with our services. If there is anything on the Opening/ Closing description that wasn’t done the way you like it, We want to know about it so we can make it right. We want to have you as a customer for years so contact us if something was overlooked.

When you call to schedule your service appointment, you will be asked for a credit card number to keep on file. Your credit card will not be charged until after your service is complete, but payment is due the day of service. You will have the option of paying with a check at the time of service if that is preferred, however if a check is not presented, your credit card will be charged the day that the service is rendered. Any additional work needed will be preauthorized prior to the repair.

Our cancellation policy is as follows: A 24 hour cancellation notice is required. You can contact us by phone or e-mail to notify us of your need to cancel. If you do not provide the required 24 hour notice, a $55.00 cancellation fee will be charged to your account.

Send e-mail cancellation notifications to:

In the event that your service is scheduled on a rainy day, we will do our best to get you rescheduled as soon as possible. That means that your original date could be pushed out another week. We appreciate your patience while you wait for your rescheduled date. In the event that you must have your pool service performed by a certain date, please schedule your appointment a few weeks in advance to allow for any weather related delays.

We ask that you please make sure that there are no dogs or other animals loose in your yard at the time of service. We understand that our clients have pets, but we request that for the protection of our service technicians (and your pets) that you keep them indoors at the time of service.

Occasionally when your swimming pool is opened, it will be very green and dark, swamp like. This is due to the presence of algae in your pool. In this case, the technician will not be able to see the bottom of the pool.

We will NOT attempt to vacuum your pool if we cannot see the bottom, this can result in clogging your skimmer, filter, and/or, underground pipes. However, we will brush the walls and floor to begin dislodging the algae from the pools surfaces and we will also skim for the allotted 1/2 hour to help get your water circulating. You can hire us for an additional service call once the water is clear enough to see the floor in the deep end.

It is extremely important that you understand that there is nothing that can be done to clear a green pool in one visit. It usually takes time, effort, and alot of patience to get your water cleared up. Once the opening chemicals have been given a chance to circulate, we recommend that you take a water sample into a retail chemical store for further assistance. We recommend the water chemistry experts at Luxury Pools for customers in Midlothian, Powhatan, and West End/ Short Pump area; and Medallion Pools in Colonial Heights for all customers in the tri-city area.
